RODON 4.2 Released
The RODON Development Team at Uptime Solutions AB is happy to announce the release of RODON version 4.2. This Release includes exciting new functionality and a number of bug fixes. This major RODON Release comes as a conclusion of a series of extensive reviews and the reorganization of some of the main modules. The aim has been to improve user interaction and provide the necessary functionality to make diagnostic work easier. Both the generic core modules and the various standard component libraries in RODON are improved.
This new Release would not have been possible without the input that we have received from you, the users of the system. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all valuable feedback that we have received during the last year.
Thank you for considering Uptime Solution AB as your diagnostic solution provider and we are looking forward to continuing our collaboration.
Sincerely yours,
Peter Bunus, on behalf of the RODON Development Team
Summary of Changes in RODON 4.2
- The AutoSim tool for performing automated simulation has been redesigned for improved usability including simulation for multiple faults.
- The Decision Tree Module DTGen has been enhanced with additional functionality for tree layouting, tree export and generation of test trees without symptoms.
- The visualization and presentation capabilities of RODON have been enhanced by providing support and functionality for conditional icons. Now, the graphical appearance of the components reflects the computed system behavior.
- Failure rates for individual component failure modes can now be associated via the graphical user interface. This allows reliability prediction calculations to be performed and visualized during diagnostic and safety assessment related computations.
- Procedures have been developed for improved over- and under-coverage detection with respects to diagnostics indicators such as sensor signals, fault codes and BITE messages.
- A new mechatronic library has been released to facilitate modeling of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Features to Assess Load Analysis and Dimensioning during System Design
